What is unique about these crystals is not just the crystals themselves,
but the practices of the importer. They not only pay their workers a fair wage, they are part of the community. Many of their suppliers are Madagascan owned businesses, operated by the same families for generations.
They have built both a school and a clinic near the mines, paid for the tuition, books, and school supplies for all of the employees’ children. Finally, they observe many American pay practices there, like holiday pay, overtime pay, and goal based bonuses.
I am happy to have been working with them for more than a decade. High quality crystals, high quality people.
Because of the way that they are mined, most of the crystals usually have perfect, un-chipped tips and are natural single points of extremely fine formation.
