Once my family friend who runs a machine shop stopped saving me aluminum shavings (and we subsequently moved away) I had no source for metal. I found out that Sensei was selling metals, and I felt that it would be good to give him some business given all he has done.
The Etsy and Amazon kits were laughable – essentially giltter material, not real metal, and if it was real metal, just a pound or two of shot for obscene prices, not real turnings.
Sensei’s aluminum was well worth the shipping prices. It was very clean and didn’t include any sweepings or oil. It goes far, and I usually order other metals to complement them. A+
